Synopsis

Julio Lumbreras was one of the first patients admitted with COVID-19 in an ICU in Spain. In fact, when he entered the Torrejón hospital, hardly anyone spoke of the pandemic.

When he came out of the coma, 57 days later, the world had changed radically: deserted cities, children without school, people locked up in their homes and more than 25,000 deaths in Spain alone.

This innovative short documentary tells the 57 days Julio Lumbreras spent in the ICU through the messages that his wife and five children were sending each other via Whatsapp during that time.
